    No was already done before me but is a very simple modification to do really.

    Hi Mike – PO had done the same as on the other thread – ie replaced the original gauge with electronic sender and mounted display in easy view from the helm.

    Must admit its a bit flaky on the readings so I do need to have a look at connections etc but is still a better solution than the original setup.

    Hi John – i removed mine and did removed some of the core around the hole and used epoxy to seal it.

    How did you clean up the glass? mine is crazed and i can’t see through it at all.

    I tried unscrewing the back to remove the glass but its wasn’t going to be moved at all. For now I’ve put it back in to be revisited another day.

    I have those fittings in the vberth on Blue Pelican converted to led not really happy with them. At the nav station a previous owner has changed the light to a traditional cabin light, it’s not bad but I was thinking about changing it to a strip of LEDs possibly white and red.
