what dates are we considering for 3 mile harbor? I need to make arrangements re: kiddies. July 4 weekend or Bastille Day seem best.

I was wondering about that, too. I'm free most weekends, but not last two in August, first in September. It's only 13 hours from Stamford, CT.

Still planning on Three Mile Harbor– just need to firm up a date– looks like weekend after the fireworks, probably 26 July– i haven’t been able to find confirmation of the fireworks date to be sure we don’t overlap with it. I’m 90 % sure it will be before the 26th.

Please let me know who can make it that weekend.

Just got an email back from the editor of a local East Hampton newspaper stating that the date for the July fireworks in the harbor has not been set yet. As I stated it is usually in the middle of the month, so our date should be ok. At this point it is impossible to say with 100% certainty that it won’t be on the 26th, but why don’t we plan on it for now, and we can move that if need be. How does eveyone feel about that?

BTW Don- your message came through last night! We’ve got you down! not to worry.

It is usually the weekend closest to Bastille Day, the 14th, because that is what the fireworks celebrate. This year the 14th is a Monday, so I would bet the fireworks will be the preceding Saturday night.
