SL Seawolf Windlass, manual lever

I still have the original Simpson Lawrence Seawolf windlass and so far (knock on wood) still working fine. However being a caution type I would like to have the ability to hoist anchor manually just in case.

I was told there is a manual lever for the Seawolf and even saw a picture once but not sure how it works, where to install it if I had one. The manual I have doesn’t address this at all.

So, first question, how would this work. Next, anyone have an old lever they want to sell. If not, photos, measurements, etc so I could cut one from a piece of steel?

I have a Tigress. I assume this is very similar. There is a ring next to the gypsy that the handle plugs into.
