Well, the verdict is in and we have a cracked head on our VERY well running (until now) W58. Symptom was exhaust in the coolant NOT coolant in the oil.
So, except for the head, everything else is fine. It’s not pretty, but it ran better than new.

I know at least 18 of us still have a W58, so if anyone needs parts let me know. I even have some NOS spares. We can work out details and prices individually.

Send an email to the list but didn’t see it post, so sorry if this is a repeat.

Timing is amazing. My spare W58 is at Hansen marine awaiting evaluation to determine if it’s worth rebuilding. One of the main problems is parts. I could use an exhaust manifold and the four connecting cast iron parts. I’m supposed to talk with Fred Knowles tomorrow morning about options, and I’ll know more then.

Could you put me down for the exhaust manifold, its parts and the mixer? Maybe more when I hear from Fred.

      Thank you

      Hi Roger.

I’ve got you covered. I even have the gaskets you’ll need. The paint is peeling, but everything is in good shape otherwise.
Let me know and we can figure everything out offline.

      Evan-
How about the instrument panel and included wiring? Could use a few gauges, and definitely the wiring harness– both ends, in fact.

what is the status of your RV20? (original, or rebuilt ?)

Also, where are you located? I am on Long Island, NY
      Thanks.

I may have an interest in the injection pump, if available. Ours just started leaking and still looking at our options; rebuild the current one, at a cost of about $1k, maybe fix the leak without even removing the pump (I am doubtful, but my motor expert wants to have a look), or purchase a used injection pump in good working order. Any thoughts appreciated…

      Evan:

I am interested in glow plus, injector lines, mixer elbow on raw water if avialable.

      Gentlemen,

      My apologies for the delay…
The engine and all parts were sold lock, stock, and barrel to one individual. Sorry.

Paul, I do have a new, old stock mixing elbow if you’re interested. Email me off list if you are.

      Thanks for the interest.
