ModeratorAll,
The owners registry can be found in the top page menu, but ONLY if you’re logged in. I wanted to give some semblance of privacy. I also did not include email addresses in the table, but can if you all want them added.
The information I have is current as of about 2 weeks ago. If anything is incorrect, please reply to this topic and I’ll fix it. The “For Sale” column on the far right is the result of me occasionally scanning Yachtworld and Craigslist for 424s currently for sale. Again, if you know of a correction, just let me know.
Finally, we’re working on some formatting issues, but I figure this is a good enough start.
Thanks for your patience,
Evan

ModeratorThanks for the heads up, Dawn Marie! I don’t see new signups (it’s confusing having a Ewan, administrator, and an Evan, owner database…lol).
I’ve got you updated and welcome to 424 ownership! IT should show up later this evening.Evan

ParticipantHi Evan,
I am the proud and happy guy owned by New Hope, a Ketch rig, bought last November 2017 in Barcelona. Hull N° 75.
We organize community sailing activities and navigations with our Barcelona Balearics sailing Association.
In the owners list in the site it looks like New Hope was previously based in Seattle.
Does anyone has any idea of the story of the boat, and how many previous owners when she was on your side of the Atlantic ?Thanks and congratulations for this site,
Best

ParticipantEvan,
Our Boat #187 will be Forget Knot when we relaunch in a couple months. Gambit had already been removed. Also our powerplant is a Yanmar 4JH57 now.
I’m also fine with my email being shown to other members. I think it wuuld be a great way to connect with other owners.

navegacioavelabarcelona@gmail.comIt looks like she was documented in 1996 and already named New Hope at that time. The owner on that Certificate of Documentation was listed as JANANT INC. There weren’t any previous owner’s listed so they must have been the first to document her. There were no USCG contacts between 1996 and now so they never got boarded either! Trail goes cold as I couldn’t find any contact information for Janant Inc.
