No, I just haven’t replaced all these lights with LED’s like you smart
guys have. The plastic lens of one of the dome lights just broke and I’m
hoping to replace it. If you have no use for yours, what would it take
to pry you loose from it?Tor

ParticipantI have several that are yours for the postage. There are about three or four round brass fixtures, one may have a broken lens. Nice lights looking for a home. I have gone all LED. My New Years resolution is not to save all my old stuff in case a meteorite takes out all my new stuff. Do you need a EZ7 Loran C or a used head flapper valve?

ModeratorHey Rodd,
Are you talking about those lovely Clorox Bottle lights? You could refurb
them with, literally, cut Clorox bottles. I’m thinking of doing that as
soon as I recertify my life raft, install fuel polisher, fix water tanks
and system, etc. etc.Bob

I replaced my old cheesy cabin light fixtures years ago with brass cabin
lights.
http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|65136|328876|1116023&id=1883570The original lamps attach at the bottom of the lamp fixture and most of the
nicer replacements hang down. I put a nicely finished teak plate behind the
light to hide the original hole.
(see attached photo) This allowed me to pick an entirely different type of
fixture. A plastic mirror cut to about the same size might work if you
don’t want to make teak plates. The mirror would reflect the light and
improve lighting.I recently replaced the dim incandescent bulb with LEDs and it made a huge
difference below. The lamps are now bright enough to read by. As I’m sure
you know, these use very little power.

ModeratorDear all,
😀 – I like those cheesy tube fixtures ( aka mid-century modern ) …
If anyone has the lamp shades intact I would gladly take them off your
hands for shipping and whatever mutually agreed upon remuneration.– pat

I am at the boat now and am ready to send the lights to you. I need your address. You can call me at 770-313-5115. My email is sailoneeighty@gmail.comHere is what I am sending: three cabin top lights, three swivel reading lights, two bow light fixtures, one stern light (original). I have gone to all LED’s and have run out of room to store stuff. If you don’t need all of these, you can be the keeper and re-distribute them if someone else does.
Hope this helps.
