“Painkiller” A Pearson 424, hull #91 is for sale. Sloop rig with rebuilt Hood roller in mast furling. Repowered with Westerbeke 71C, new bottom welded on fuel tank, all thru hulls removed and properly rebuilt, re-installed with backing plates and bolts. New chainplates, new stainless shaft, new Garhauer main traveler, new dodger, 420W solar. etc., etc. Recent haul out and paint Dec 5th 2017
My wife and I were professionals in the marine industry for many years and managed to do most all of these upgrades with little or no labor costs which can only benefit you, the next owner. We are ending a 4 year cruise through the eastern Caribbean this spring and feel ready to let her go. We will “not” list this boat with a broker as we have no “need” to sell, but want to open the options to anyone interested. We’ll show the boat anytime along our route while sailing west to the Florida east coast but will not part with her until we reach Florida as we have gear that would be costly and inconvenient to ship home. Late spring plans “might” (written in the sand at low tide) have us sailing north along the eastern seaboard to New Hampshire where we would haul out to store and list for sale.
