      Hi Mike,

I can't imagine they'd be unhappy to hear from Jack. Here's the info from Tor:

      Greetings Pulpiteers,

OK, we’re all set to order our mast pulpits now. The fabricator, Railmakers Inc, needs the following information from
each of you who wish to participate in the group-rate order:

      – Your Name
      – Shipping Address
      – Day Phone Number
      – Email Address
      – MasterCard of Visa (number, expiration date, 3-digit security number, billing address zip code)

      – Also, you MUST specify to Railmakers directly whether or not you want the mid-level stepping bar option for an
      additional $90.

Please call, email or fax your information directly to Dave (David Hawley, Manager) at Railmakers between today,
Wednesday the 27th, and this Friday the 29th. Remember they’re on Pacific Standard Time, 3 hours earlier than East Coast
      time:

      Railmakers, Inc.
      David Hawley, Manager
      864 West 18th Street
      Costa Mesa, CA 92627

      Phone: (949)642-6506
      Fax : (949)642-8066
      Email: ()
      URL : http://www.railmakers.com

Railmakers is going to build all of the mast pulpits at the same time. Once they get payment info from all of us, they
predict it will be one to two weeks for production, plus two to three days for polishing and packaging, plus shipping
time (UPS Ground). So for the production run, from time of order to parts in hand figure three to four weeks. I’ve asked
Dave to send the first two pair off the line to Bob Fine and me so we can verify that everything is as it should be.
That way, if there is any little glitch, we can get back to Railmakers about it (hopefully) before they ship the rest.

Here, again, is what you can expect to pay:

$445.00 – per pair of mast pulpits, as per attached FINAL FINAL (mod-10) plan drawings
      $ 90.00 – optional stepping Bar
      $ 8.50 – packaging
$100.00 – ESTIMATED shipping cost, UPS Ground

Thanks to all of you for your input and your patience.

      Reef early,

      Tor

Hi Robert: thanks for getting me involved. Mike must have misundersood me. I’m actually looking for a mast shoe as mine is very badly corroded. I’m getting reay to pull the “stick” and replace it. Metalmast used to make one but I understand they are no longer in business. Have a great week end.

      RE: Metalmast

I just spoke to subject company owner a few weeks ago
and he still does mast steps, etc., although he is
officially retired. He will do a mast step and provide
a sleeve to go inside the lower portion of a mast . We
did not discuss an elevated step to offset a mast with
a few inches cut off the bottom.
