ModeratorHi All,
If you’ve been following the OpenCPN travails Tor has had and want a copy
of this, use this link to my Google Documents. Let me know if it works.Doc302.pdf –
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5btHG0zM5TGcmN0Mms1Q1pJZVk/edit?usp=sharingI’ll keep it up there for a while and then delete it.

It works! I have the manual in PDF. Cool!
FYI, most of the hyperlinks in the Table of Contents do not work, but
strangely (to me) a few of them do.Many thanks, Roberto.

ModeratorHi Tor,
You’re welcome – I had to research, download, install and figure out a
program that would do that with an HTML linked document. I’m sure there’s
a way to make all the links work, but my time this morning was limited.I’m glad it worked, sort of, for you, but I think you won’t refer to it too
often.Enjoy!

Bob,
I see a number of free programs online for converting HTML to PDF (and also
PDF to JPG, MS Word to PDF, etc, etc). Maybe I’ll play with it a bit now
and see if I can get those hyperlinks to work, but it’s not important. I
just wanted a chance to read through the manual to familiarize myself with
the program functions, and now can thanks to you. I imagine (I hope!) it’s
similar to the Capn Voyager program with which I’m already familiar.Tor

ModeratorHi Tor,
There are a number of programs that do that but not so many that will
recursively follow links. You just tell it what files to include either
through a separate file or some other way. This one I just told it to use
the index.html and it went and found all the files and pictures. Why the
links don’t work I don’t know but I wanted you to get this sooner rather
than later. Also, I use Ubuntu Linux as my operating system so I don’t
have to worry about the viruses and crap Windows and to some extent Apple
OS X are subject to. But that’s not really important, is it?I hope you like the program and it works for you.
