Easy Reach, hull #206. Now on the market in New Jersey after 13 years with us from Chicago to Central America and back and from Chicago to the Canadian Maritimes and down the east coast.

40 that was 1 mile ahead of me when we left Tabago Cays on our way to
Bequia. It took me almost 2 hours to catch up to him, but I just could
not pass him and he could not pass me. Until, he put up his mizzen. It
was like he put the brakes on and I blew right past him.

Here’s a shot of my first split rig, Autant, a 1927 William Hand designed
gaff rigged ketch, double-diagonal-strip-planked and engineless! I learned
to spile and plank fixing up that old boat, and had many a salty sea
adventure aboard her. Let me know if you need a larger size version of this
photo and I’ll dig it out.Tor
