ParticipantHi folks, Dave and Nikki here, We are wondering if anyone has upgraded their main traveler with a Garhauer system. If so I’d like to drop your name to Guido so her can look up the specs without me having to send him my old traveler (We are using it).
Thanks! Dave and Nikki

ParticipantYes, I left my old traveler with Guido at the Annapolis Boat Show 12 years ago. He made us a new traveler that fit onto the existing dog houses.
Mobjack Pearl is a 424 that Guido made a new traveler for that included structures that replaced the dog houses. That was approx 2 years prior to him making mine.Rick Dugger

ParticipantDave and Nikki,
I’m going to be replacing my traveller very soon as well. Would love to get some feedback on your swap especially cost. Maybe Guido can work a deal for more than one traveller? I also plan to hit the Annapolis spring show on Friday to see what is available. I’m not expecting too much since the spring show is quite small but it’s a good excuse to stroll the show.

ParticipantI called Guido yesterday and had a good chat with him. He sent me the attached PDF of the dimensions he needs to fabricate a traveler for a 424. Mine is in Florida right now and I won’t be there for a couple weeks. Thought I would pass this along to anyone contemplating a Garhauer traveler. This is for a traveler like the one in the photo section of the forum onboard Eclipse. If anyone has the time and energy to get these dimensions for me in the meantime I’d be forever grateful. Not a worry if it cannot be done, I can wait for a few more weeks.
Thanks,
Rich
