All,
As part of the site redevelopment, I’d like to ask for photos of our boats in their resplendent glory. Since #18 is on the hard (big hole is now sorted out) I thought I’d refrain from photos of my beautiful obsession on the hard, and elicit some offerings from the community.Â
(recognizing that many of you may throw your arms up and say ‘what ever is he talking about?’)
Additionally, if any of you are on instagram, I am at svmysticwarrior and tag boat photos as #pearson424Â

Thanks to all who responded! I have some excellent shots of our great boats doing what they should be doing – sailing in tropical places, at anchor, and otherwise being enjoyed.

The first time I came across the Pearson forum it was this site…

I managed to get registered and logged in and well informed through all the
past posts but was confused about the “mailing list” part of it. Also the
search engine seemed to be very. very vague as in so many different posts
came up with just the word or something …it just didn’t help me find
details.Then along came that tiki/tiki/view site (I can’t get the link to load
now) was very, very similar and I did manage to get some pictures posted
but by that time I sorted out the mailing list thing and stuck to that, as
it seemed easier but thought it was funny that it’s not really a forum,
it’s just a group all on the same email. I do like that I see all emails
related but it does fill up a bunch of space and it’s not really “a forum”
where different people can come “look around” and decide if they want to
join or maybe just lurk.Now we have yet another site …https://www.pearson424.org/
This to me looks like a standard blog page and wonder how this is going to
create what I think of as a proper forum that anyone can get into and be a
part of if they register etc, etc.Personally, I just love the old one, the first that I linked above. I just
wish the picture adding and search engine worked better. Everything is at
your fingertips and all emails from the mailing list also show up. I don’t
understand how all this works I just know I prefer to see it “all” on one
or multiple pages.Just my geekless 2 cents.

It’s all Geek to me. I’ve never used the site; just do the email thing. After reading a new one, I drop it in a dedicated Outlook folder. If I want to review something again later, it’s there, albeit without the benefit of an automatic search engine. That is, I’m the search engine. No doubt my email-only approach to being in this group has its limitations, but it’s simple and functional.

Here is OneEighty sailing across the finish line in the Dauphin Island Race 2014 to take first in fleet. As you may have read, the DI race 2015 ended up in a nasty storm with lost boats and the loss of 6 souls.
The greenwater pic is taken en-route to the Exumas.
